i just purchased this item from gnc and I paid 49.99! the guy at the store said it was the best product, we’ll see, if so i will definitely buy from amazon next time!

I’m an 18 year old female from California. Standing 5′4″ weighing 109lbs. I’ve been into health and fitness for a very long time and did tons of research on different products. Over Christmas 2005, I lost over 15lbs (without any dieting pills). Still, the last few pounds seemed difficult to get rid of, so I decided I should take the easy way out and try out fat burners. I searched on BodyBuilding.com and found Nutrex Lipo 6 as their number 1 fat-loss product. Blindly, I bought 2 bottles over the internet. 5 days later the package arrived and I immediately started taking them. My first doses consisted of 2 caps. 30min after taking them I felt the caffeine start working. My vision improved, as well as my mood and energy level increased. I didn’t feel any nervousness at all.
So for the next 10 days I religiously took Lipo 6, twice a day, exercised (doing H.I.I.T. on the treadmill) and lifting weights also. Weight loss has been O.K., most of it was water weight at the beginning, but it helped me lose 4 pounds. After two weeks, I started having bad side effects. I became shakey, weak, and fatigued after each dose. My daily calorie intake was 1300 and carbs were around 30-40 per day, protein was well around 120g. I drank a lot of water, since caffeine is a well-known diuretic. It didn’t help at all, and I only felt sicker. Few more days had past and I lost most of the energy that I thought I gained by Lipo 6. I was so low on energy that I needed to quit working out and just linger in bed. I became extremely sleepy, but nervous at the same time. I had severe dizzy spells several times a day and getting up from sitting was just horrible.
A few nights later, I went to bed feeling extremely sick to my stomach. I broke out in cold sweats. I felt weak, fatigued, confused, and my heart was racing as if I was running like crazy. I figured it would just go away on its own so I ignored it until a few hours later, I got out of bed.
I walked out of the bathroom and suddenly I couldn’t hear a thing, my vision was almost gone, and I was dripping in sweat and had a horrible time breathing. The only thing that has kept me alive was the help of my sister who had just walked out of the room and saw me collapsing on the floor. If I remember correctly, I don’t think I was breathing at all. It took my body around 2 minutes to regain full conciousness again. My fingernails as well as my toenails were dark blue.
THIS IS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I’VE EVER HAD WITH ANY KIND OF DIET SUPPLEMENT. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THIS PRODUCT. IT CONTAINS SEVERAL DIFFERENT STIMULANTS WHICH CAN HAVE THE SAME EFFECTS AS METH! YOU MAY FEEL FINE FOR THE FIRST FEW WEEKS, BUT IT’LL CATCH UP ON YOU. THIS PRODUCT IS DANGEROUS AND SHOULD BE TAKEN OFF THE MARKET AS IT HAS ALMOST HAPPENED TO MY MOTHER.
Even after quitting Lipo 6, I still had severe palpitations, dizzy spells, and panic attacks that felt like heart attacks. I’ve been off this product for about 2 weeks now, and the after effects have just gone away. There are healthier ways to lose the fat you wanna lose. Cutting out sugar and reducing your intake of starchy foods and exercising 5 times a week is the best way to do it unless your doctor tells you otherwise.

Nutrex-Lipo diet pills make me sick to my stomach. I never lost any weight at all. They just made me sick. I would not recomend them to anyone. ISh.

I do not recommend this product. I experienced a very rapid heart beat while using this and I was also not able to sleep. I tried it for a week but the side effects did not get better. All this product did was make me miserable. I even used the products recommendation of starting with just a pill a day and then slowly moving to 4 a day, I did not take any after 2 in the afternoon, the label states allow 6 hours before you sleep, and I was not able to sleep until 2 or 3 in the morning and up at 5 am. If i could I would of given it a negative star, save your money and do not purchase this.

Nope, I haven’t lost anything. Did the die and exercise as well and didn’t see any lost in fat weight or anything. A gimmick? I’ll never know. I guess it works for some people and doesn’t. Either that or I accidently got the placebo pills while everybody got the real thing.
